Francesco Muggeri, VP of Marketing & Applications, Power Discrete & Analog, APeC/China, STMicroelectronics
"Francesco Muggeri is Vice President for Power Discrete and Analog Products, Asia Pacific at STMicroelectronics. In his role, Muggeri leads ST’s Industrial Focused Competence Centers including the Motor Control Competence Center, Power & Energy Competence Center and Automation Competence Center in Asia and coordinates ST’s global Mass Market Industrial Task Force, with regards to consumer segment. Muggeri joined ST in 1995, as a designer for automotive sensors in Italy. In 2000, he moved to product marketing for power transistors before relocating to Shanghai as marketing manager for transistors in 2002. In 2008, Muggeri moved to Commercial Marketing for STMicroelectronics’ Asia Pacific operations in Hong Kong. He became director for Discrete and Analog Products in 2015 and added Marketing Communications to his mandate in 2016. Muggeri graduated with a master’s degree in electronic engineering from the University of Pisa, Italy. In 2014, he was awarded an EMBA degree from the Global Asia Program organized by the London Business School of London, the Colombia University of New York, and the University of Hong Kong."
Alex Lidow, Ph.D., CEO and Co-Founder, Efficient Power Conversion (EPC)
Dr. Alex Lidow joined International Rectifier as an R&D engineer and is the co-inventor of the HEXFET power MOSFET, a power transistor that displaced the bipolar transistor and launched modern power conversion. Over the 30 years Dr. Lidow was at IRF, his responsibilities grew from engineer to head of R&D, head of manufacturing, head of sales and marketing, and finally CEO for 12 years. In addition to holding many power MOSFET and GaN FET patents, Dr. Lidow has authored numerous publications; most recently he co-authored the first textbook on GaN transistors, GaN Transistors for Efficient Power Conversion. In 2004, he was elected to the Engineering Hall of Fame, and in 2005, under his leadership, International Rectifier was named one of the best managed companies in America by Forbes magazine. Dr. Lidow earned a Bachelor of Science in Applied Physics from the California Institute of Technology and a doctorate in Applied Physics from Stanford University. Since 1998, he has been a member of the Board of Trustees of the California Institute of Technology.
Stephen Coates, General Manager (Asia) and VP of Global Operation, GaN Systems
Stephen has more than three decades of experience in engineering, manufacturing operations, and supply-chain management. He has extensive experience in building and running advanced technology fabs (front end and backend).In addition, he has expertise in establishing and developing strategic relationships to support full product commercialization, high-volume manufacturing, and device packaging and integration which is key to ensuring that GaN Systems meets global demands. Stephen moved to Taiwan in 2016 to establish GaN Systems Asia and has successfully grown the team to be the second largest and the fastest growing office in the company. Previously, Stephen held executive management roles including VP of Operations at Virtuality, Symmorphix Thin Films, and Fultec Semiconductor (Bourns). Stephen has an EE degree from Nottingham Trent University.
Jacky Wan, Vice President, Supplier Management & Engineering - APAC, Arrow Electronics
Jacky Wan is vice president of Supplier Management and Engineering for Arrow Electronics’ components business in the Asia-Pacific region. He leads the supplier business strategy and asset management for semiconductor technologies across Asia-Pacific region. In addition, he is also responsible for overseeing the development of engineering and technology capabilities. Jacky joined Arrow in 2012. He held a number of regional engineering, marketing and business development roles through which he was responsible for building up business development team for several vertical segments, regional engineering team, and forming close alliance with industry ecosystem partners. Before being appointed to his current position, he was VP of Engineering, APAC. Prior to joining Arrow, Jacky was regional sales manager in National Semiconductor (acquired by Texas Instruments in 2011). Jacky began his career at National Semiconductor in 1999 as a testing engineer and moved into software design and application engineer roles. He was then promoted to take on various sales and product marketing positions. During his tenure at National Semiconductor, he won several top employee awards in recognition of his outstanding performance and contributions. Jacky holds a bachelor's degree in engineering from the University of California, Los Angeles, and he completed the executive program in International Management from Stanford / National University of Singapore.
Jason Khor, Senior Manager, Engineering, Arrow Electronics
Jason Khor is senior manager of Engineering at Arrow Electronics. He is responsible for leading the engineering team in the South Asia region, covering Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, the Philippines, Indonesia, and Vietnam. Jason joined Arrow in 2016. He has more than 25 years of experience in electronics R&D, engineering, and semiconductor distribution business. Jason started fabricating his own electronic boards, soldered and assembled components on hand drawn, etched PCBs as a teenager. He now works daily with innovators and creators in bringing next-generation products to life.
Andrea Bricconi, Chief Commercial Officer, Cambridge GaN Devices
Andrea has a master's degree in Physics and researched III/V compound semiconductors. Andrea has spent more than 25 years in the semiconductor industry. In the first part of his career, he had various R&D roles at International Rectifier where he managed a Product Engineering group as well as led key international projects with foundries and OSATs. He then focused on product marketing at Vishay Technology and later moved to Infineon where he started and managed the Power GaN programme. He spent the last 10 years on GaN, leading key development and application teams and marketing activities, travelling the world to meet partners, customers, and institutions, bringing the GaN challenge to Silicon to the next level. Eventually, he led the business development group for Infineon's automotive division focused on envisioning the application of GaN solutions for EV/HEV and autonomous driving. Dr Ravinder Pal Singh, Product Application Engineer, Infineon
Dr Ravinder Pal Singh is a Senior Staff Engineer responsible for Wide Bandgap (WBG) applications. He obtained his Ph.D. degree in 2010 from the National University of Singapore. He is also a senior member of IEEE and has published more than 30 articles in renowned IEEE journals and conferences on wide topics related to power electronics – topology, sense and control.

Hyungmook Choi (Michael Choi), VP of power business development, UTAC Group
Hyungmook Choi is a seasoned professional in the semiconductor industry with over 20 years’ experience in the power semiconductor supply chain. He obtained his Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering and Master of Science in Electrical Engineering degrees from Seoul National University in Korea in 1992 and 1994, respectively. He started his career at Samsung Semiconductor, where he worked as a power supply system engineer. In 2001, Choi joined VISHAY SILICONIX as Director of Market Development team of Power MOSFET Business, wherein he was responsible for defining new MOSFET technology roadmap and new MOSFET products. After a decade with the company, he became the head of Product Marketing of MOSFET Business Unit in 2011 and was accountable for the P&L of MOSFET BU in Vishay. In 2015, Choi joined UTAC as Vice President of Power Business Development, where he led the new power package business for the consumer and industrial computing markets where QFN copper clip technology was needed. Under his leadership, the QFN Copper clip technology became one of the primary power business segments in UTAC, achieving over 2-billion-unit shipment in 2022 in just five years after starting production.
