Praveen Jose, Senior Technical leader- Field applications, Analog Devices, Inc.
The rapid evolution of edge computing and IoT has created a growing demand for efficient, intelligent, and reliable wireless connectivity. Analog Devices plays a pivotal role in meeting these demands by delivering cutting-edge solutions that combine ultra-low power operation, precision analog performance, and AI/ML integration. At the heart of this transformation are ultra-low power transceivers, which enable seamless communication in sensor networks and battery-powered IoT devices. These transceivers are optimized for minimal energy consumption, ensuring extended operational life in remote and portable applications. For industrial environments, precision analog front ends provide robust and accurate signal acquisition, even in electrically noisy or harsh conditions. These solutions support critical applications such as predictive maintenance, asset tracking, and process automation, where reliability and data integrity are paramount. Furthermore, the integration of AI/ML processing at the edge enhances system intelligence by enabling real-time analytics and decision-making directly at the device level. This reduces latency, minimizes bandwidth usage, and supports autonomous operation in smart factories, healthcare systems, and connected infrastructure. Together, these technologies from Analog Devices empower the next generation of edge devices with smarter, more efficient wireless connectivity—driving innovation across industries and paving the way for scalable, intelligent systems.
