Vinod Kariat is currently Corporate VP of R&D at Cadence, leading the Virtuoso platform. He joined Cadence through the acquisition of CadMOS Design Technology in 2001, where he was founder and VP of R&D. Vinod has held various technical and management positions in both digital and custom business groups at Cadence, most recently leading the Spectre circuit simulation platform. Vinod obtained PhD in computer engineering from Syracuse University and holds more than 25 patents.
