Vinod Kariat is currently Corporate VP of R&D at Cadence, leading the Virtuoso platform. He joined Cadence through the acquisition of CadMOS Design Technology in 2001, where he was founder and VP of R&D. Vinod has held various technical and management positions in both digital and custom business groups at Cadence, most recently leading the Spectre circuit simulation platform. Vinod obtained PhD in computer engineering from Syracuse University and holds more than 25 patents.

Dr. Thomas Andersen heads the artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) solutions group at Synopsys, where he focuses on developing new technologies in the AI and ML space to automate the future of chip design. He has more than 20 years of experience in the semiconductor and EDA industry. Thomas started his career at IBM’s TJ Watson Research Center in Yorktown Heights, New York, followed by managing synthesis/place-and-route engineering at Magma Design Automation and Synopsys. He holds a master’s degree from the University of Stuttgart and a Ph.D. in Computer Engineering from the University of Kaiserslautern in Germany.

Daniel Cooley serves as Chief Technology Officer and Senior Vice President, Technology and Product Development, where he is responsible for the company’s overall research and development strategy and execution. Chuan-Shin is currently the Regional Marketing Manager for Taiwan, ASEAN & ANZ at Tektronix. He has been in the test & measurement for more than 20 years in various functions and leadership positions in Applications, Engineering, Business Development, Product Marketing, Technical Marketing and Product Management. Chuan-Shin received his Bachelor of Engineering from University of Manchester Institute of Science and Technology and his MBA from Manchester Business School. He also completed his Executive Certificate in Engineering Leadership from Nanyang Business School, NTU Singapore.

After gaining a bachelor´s degree in Chemical Engineering and Business Administration in Turkey, Kutup received a Master’s degree for Industry 4.0 Technologies in Germany at the TU Dortmund University. He also gained his Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering at the same university. Kutup's organization is a key enabler to design and optimize products by using data analytics methodology in R&D, quality, and supply chain while ensuring data protection in sensitive environments . He has co-authored over 16 technical papers and patents focused on smart and continuous manufacturing technology, equipment design, and process intensification.

Stephen has 30+ years’ experience in power semiconductors. Starting with Navitas in 2015 as VP Sales & Marketing, he is now VP Corporate Marketing & IR, guiding Navitas’ successful 2021 IPO. Stephen was VP at Vicor, creating $200M+ revenue with IBM, Google, Advantest and more, plus prior roles at Motorola (Continental), Philips (NXP) and International Rectifier (Infineon). He has B.Eng (Hons) from Manchester University and an MBA from UCLA, and is a UK Chartered Engineer. He is on the Advisory Board of the Power Source Manufacturers’ Association (PSMA), having been VP, President and Chairman.

Allan Lagasca is Applications Director and the head of ST’s Automation Competence Center in Asia. Allan joined ST in 2003 as a Senior Application Engineer for Discrete Group in Taiwan. He became FAE manager for Taiwan team in 2006 then became the regional FAE manager in 2011 covering the Greater China, South Asia and India FAE team for IPD. In 2014, He moved to Shenzhen and became Application Director of the System Engineering and Strategic Programs with major investment in Motor Control and Smart Metering application. Felicity Gonzalez is a product market engineer for the Wi-Fi Connectivity line at Texas Instruments. Last year they graduated cum laude in their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Electrical Engineering from Southern Methodist University, USA. They are also one of the first from their university to graduate with the National Academy of Engineering’s Grand Challenge Scholars Program – an intensive program requiring student research and publication, business acumen, and cross-cultural communication. Felicity is excited to innovate the connectivity space and help customers design great connected products.

As GaN Systems’ Vice President of Operations, Stephen Coates joined GaN Systems in 2015 from DigiLens, where he was Head of Manufacturing. Stephen has more than three decades of experience in engineering, manufacturing operations, and supply-chain management. He has extensive experience in building and running advanced technology fabs (front end and backend). In addition, he has expertise in establishing and developing strategic relationships to support full product commercialization, high-volume manufacturing, and device packaging and integration which is key to ensuring that GaN Systems meets global demands. In 2009, he was promoted to Global Account Manager, EMS and was further promoted to Director of Sales, China & Automotive in 2014, based at the Molex Shanghai office, He relocated to HK in 2020 and was promoted to Sales Director of Greater China and India regional markets. His current position is Senior Director of Sales for Automotive and Datacom business. Clark majored in Electrical Engineering from St. John’s University, Taiwan.

Before joining proteanTecs, Gal served as Chief Technology and Production Engineering of Samsung Smart Machines, building from the ground-up Samsung’s ADAS/AV technology, focusing on full-stack platforms for automated driving systems. Prior to that, he held key roles in some of the most innovative pillars of autonomous driving at Mobileye (acquired by Intel), a leading supplier of Advanced Driver Assist Systems (ADAS).
